1.why的意思是“为什么”。它可以用作疑问副词、关系副词和连接副词来引导名词性从句。
2.why作为疑问副词，引导特殊疑问句或省略特殊疑问句，表示“为什么”；后接不带to的不定式动词，表示“为什么要……”，表示某个动作没有必要或没有意义。
3.whynot有三个意思:①表示“为什么不”，②表示建议，③表示同意。Whynot后接不带to的不定式动词，用于提出建议，表示“为什么不……”。Why not也可以用来问前面否定句的问题。
